Yang dongqing, director of MIIT information center, and Sun Yingkai, dean of Southeast China Household Electric Appliance Research Institute, visited Jaten on November 3rd. Chen You, as the chairman of Jaten, gave a detailed introduction of the company’s development strategy and products to them.
    Chen You said our country should pay much attention to the robot industry. Taking Jaten as an example, manufacturing of the robot is multiplying every year. The robot is being applied in all aspects of industry, and will be applied in home life. Many automobile manufacturing factories will consider the space left for robots, including power supply, automatic maintenance and control center. However, the robot still cannot be popularized in home life because of high price and limited living space. Chen You suggested building robot experience museum in Shunde, and integrating the local household appliance, robot and Internet firms to create a future concept home.
    Ms. Yang praised the industrialization of Jaten robots. She asked many questions about intellectual property rights and reminded Jaten to protect them. Besides, she spoke highly of the central control system. Director Yang said she would report the situation to her leaders and propose to build a national key laboratory in Jaten to solve the problem of AGV key components that hadn’t been produced in China; meanwhile, Mr. Sun said he would integrate resources in all fields to help with Jaten’s development.
